Hello and thank you for considering me for your photography session!
I was born in Chicago and still feel like this is my original home turf, but I was raised in beautiful rural Michigan (where I still live now) and wouldn’t trade this upbringing for anything. I’m a little bit country and a little bit rock n’ roll (70’s reference, you’ll pick up on this if you were a Donny and Marie fan).
I am a wife, mother of four, photographer, dancer, dance teacher, artist and dreamer.
I don’t just live life . . . I feel life . . . every beautiful and tragic moment.
If you choose me as your photographer, I will not just take photos - I strive to capture emotions; whether it is love, humor, pride, joy, accomplishment, or pain . . . I want you to be able to look back on the images and visually see what you felt at that moment in time. I take a photojournalistic approach to my sessions in order to tell a visual story.
I try not to take life too seriously. If you work with me – know that I have a fun, slightly sarcastic sense of humor. I love life and people!

Please contact me directly for a quote. You can email me through the contact page of my website, at jennifer.l.green@comcast.net or by phone at 231-670-9244. I’m happy to photograph anything from a Portrait Session (seniors, family, children, business, ect.), birthday party, family reunion, pets, holiday card photo, Bar Mitzvah, Quinceanera, or skydiving (ok, maybe not skydiving due to my fear of extreme heights) . . . if you have an event you want captured, I’m your gal. Feel free to contact me and I’ll gladly provide you with a quote. Also, my motto is “have camera – will travel”. No additional cost for trips to Chicago on up to Traverse City; anything further please call and we can discuss transportation fees.
Additional Notes:
Dancers - Forget those boring studio posed shots with stark white backgrounds that all look the same – I will take you out and about creating beautiful works of art. I am a dancer and a dance teacher so I know how to pose you so that you are in perfect form.
(see my Fine Art Photography link for Dancer photo examples)
Performance Photography - My older brother is a professional trumpet player, so I've had a lot of great opportunities to photograph live performances. I love to shoot these types of events!

Commercial Photography – Since this can mean a variety of things, please call me to discuss and I will provide a quote after learning more about the project.
